About the Lyallpur Khalsa College of Engineering: The Lyallpur Khalsa College of Engineering got established in 2013 under the aegis of Khalsa College Lyallpur Education Charitable Trust. The Institute is located in the heart of city on a prime piece of land. It was established with an aim to impart engineering education to the students to make them competent, motivated engineers and scientists. The institute as a first step will provide the education in the field of Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering disciplines, the most sought after disciplines at present due to the huge potential for the industry absorbing the good students in these fields and very rapid investments taking place in the region.

  • Two Days Technical Workshop "Technoasia" on Basic Robotics organized by Spark Lab in collaboration with IIT Guwahati. This workshop proved to be very helpful for the students as they were able to assemble their own robots with the kits provided by the college.
  • One Day Workshop on MATLAB organized by Design Tech in collaboration with MathWorks Ltd. This workshop provided the platform for faculty members and students to get preliminary and advance knowledge about the use and application of MATLAB with real time problems.
  • One Day Workshop organized by CADD Centre on Computer Aided Design and Computer Graphics. Students were made aware of the latest softwares such as MXROAD, ArchiCAD and Revit Architecture.
  • National Conference on the "Role of ICT in Library Management" was conducted in collaboration with Librarian Professional Society, New Delhi in which various institutes in the region participated and representatives from the institutes presented their research papers on the same.

  • Dr. Jyoteesh Malhotra (Associate Professor, GNDU, RC, Jalandhar) delivered a lecture on Wireless Computer Networks.
  • Dr. S.P. Harsha (Professor, IIT, Roorkee) delivered a lecture on Futuristic developments in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Dr. Jagjit Singh (Assistant Professor, Panjab University, Chandigarh) delivered a lecture on Applications of Engineering Mathematics.
  • Mr. Ashutosh Verma (Sr. Application Developer, Oracle) under Academia – Industry collaboration programme delivered a guest lecture on Latest Trends in IT Industry.
  • Dr. Arvinder Singh (Professor, NIT, Jalandhar) delivered a lecture on Dynamics of Physics.
  • Dr. B.S. Kaith (Professor NIT, Jalandhar) shared his views on Drug Delivery System.
  • Dr. Ekonkar Singh Johal (PTU, Jalandhar) delivered a lecture on Waste Management.
  • Dr. Deepkamal Randhawa (GNDU, RC, Jalandhar) delivered a lecture on Basic Electronics.
